Good staff and cozy ambiance
The ambiance was warm and inviting with a lovely fireplace. Special thanks to Sandy and Michael for their really good service.
While the character of the hotel is charming, the rooms, particularly the bathrooms, were quite small. A few quirks, like the dimly lit spaces and lack of modern amenities, might not suit everyone.

I really enjoyed my stay, especially the cozy lounge areas with an open fire and the charming grounds that would be perfect for a relaxing afternoon, all just a short walk from pretty spots like the Southern Highlands Botanic Gardens and the Mary Poppins Statue.

Secluded location of this small hotel was a bonus. The staff was kind and faultless, everything was wonderful. I took a twin/double room with a grand scale-bathrooms, old antique furniture, as for instance.

Everything was good, including very-very nice staff with personalised service. Thoroughly enjoyed absolutely fantastic and very very good breakfast options with a toaster and cereal or porridge and a French omelette.

The Wilkinson Room was cozy with a fireplace, and the breakfast was well thought out and beautifully presented. Michael's service was a highlight. He remembered little details. Highly recommend for a nice experience 😊

The kids and I loved the beautiful views across the Bowral Golf course while relaxing in the intimate library area with a nice selection of books. Dining at Ethos Restaurant was a treat, especially with the delicious local cuisine on offer.
My wife says that the hallway noise was a bit bothersome.

The bathroom in our room was quite small and needed some updating, a bit uncomfortable .
